Het blijft mij verbazen van hoeveel ik wel niet kan doen op de YWAM Knowledge Base. Vandaag heb ik weer een pagina geschreven, dit maal over de vele verschillende scholen die je kan vinden in Jeugd Met Een Opdracht. Het duizelt nu wel een beetje. En er is nog zoveel te doen, want deze pagina en de volgende die hierin relatie op volgen kosten nog best veel werk. En ja, het is werk! Dit is het werk dat ik nu als zendeling doe. Het is ter ondersteuning van anderen, maar ik doe het ook vooral voor mijzelf. Dit is bijvoorbeeld een pagina waar ik veel aan heb. De website van JMEO waar ik de meeste informatie vandaan haalde, maakte het behoorlijk moeilijk om een goed overzicht te krijgen. En dus door die frustratie maak ik een pagina die beter die informatie verschaft. Hieronder het resultaat tot nu toe:

It keeps amazing what I can do on the YWAM Knowledge Base. Today I wrote another page, this time about the many different schools you can find within YWAM. I am still a bit dizzy. And there is still so much to do. Because this page and next that are related to it cost a lot of effort. Yes, it is work. This is the work I do as missionary nowadays. It is to support others, but I mostly do it for myself. This is a page that is most benificial for me. The website of YWAM where I get most of the information, made it really difficult to have a good overview. And through this frustration I made a page that represents this information better. Een jong meisje die zichzelf geeft voor wat zakcentjes. 1 Real is een ontzettend goede documentaire en gaat over de handel in kinderen voor prostitutie. Hier moet je je bewust van zijn. Het is veel erger dan je denkt.

Misschien vragen heel veel mensen zich af wat Arnoud tegenwoordig doet. Zit hij nog bij YWAM? Is hij nu bezig met een nieuwe trip? Of woont en werkt hij nu ergens in Nederland? Dat zijn allemaal goede vragen en niet allemaal zo makkelijk te beantwoorden.
Nee, ik zit nu niet bij YWAM en ik ben niet ergens op missie. Maar ik werk nog wel met YWAM. Met name de YWAM Knowledge Base is waar ik mij inzet. En ja, ik woon in Nederland, maar zit wel zonder werk. Behalve dan wat ik al doe ik door voor de YWAM KB.
De laatste maanden zijn behoorlijk moeilijk geweest. Ik wil niet alle details hier delen op het internet, maar ik ben zeker een jaar lang stuurloos geweest. En ik heb een heel aantal klappen te verwerken gehad. Het is nu, op dit moment pas, dat ik eindelijk weer wat visie krijg en daardoor ook weer een doel voor ogen heb.
Wat dat allemaal inhoud deel ik nu nog niet. Het is in ontwikkeling. Maar ik zit zeker te denken om deze blog weer nieuw leven in te blazen. Wat dus betekent dat er toch weer iets met YWAM aan zit te komen. Ja, iets meer dan alleen de YWAM Knowledge Base.

What does Arnoud do nowadays?
Maybe a lot of people are wondering what Arnoud is doing nowadays. Is he still with YWAM? Is he somewhere on a new trip? Or does he live and work somewhere in the Netherlands? Those are all good questions and not easily answered.
No, I am not with YWAM and I am not on a mission somewhere. But I still work with YWAM. Especially with the YWAM Knowledge Base is where I put my efforts. And yes, I live in the Netherlands, but am jobless. Except of course, for the work I do with they YWAM KB.
The last months have been really tough. I don't want to share all the details here on the internet, but I have been without direction for about a year. En I had received quite some blows. And now, at this moment, I finally get back some vision and through that a goal for life.
What that is about I won't share yet. It is in development. But I am certainly thinking about blowing some new life in this blog. Which means that something is coming up with YWAM again. Yes, something more than only the YWAM Knowledge Base.
